From preventive care and routine follow-up to new illnesses and common chronic conditions, Cary Primary Care is designed to be your first stop for most non-emergency healthcare needs.
Chronic Conditions
Ongoing primary-care management of common conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and prediabetes, thyroid disorders, asthma, and other stable chronic conditions appropriate for outpatient primary care.
Sick & Acute Visits
Evaluation and treatment of common illnesses and new concerns such as respiratory infections, sore throat, ear pain, sinus symptoms, urinary symptoms, rashes, allergies, gastrointestinal symptoms, headaches, and minor injuries.
Medication Management
Medication review, routine prescription management, refill assessment, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects, and adjustment of medications when clinically appropriate.
Women's & Men's Health
Routine primary-care concerns, preventive screening recommendations, sexual health discussions, contraception counseling, and evaluation of common men's and women's health concerns within the scope of primary care.
Mental Health
Evaluation and ongoing primary-care management of common concerns such as anxiety and depression when appropriate, including medication management and referral to behavioral-health specialists when needed.
Pediatric Primary Care
Routine primary care for enrolled children ages 5–17, including well-child care, common childhood illnesses, preventive guidance, and routine follow-up.
School & Sports Physicals
School and sports physicals are available to members and non-members for a flat fee of $50. Please bring any required school or athletic forms to the appointment.
Care Coordination
Review of outside records, specialist referrals, follow-up after urgent or emergency care, coordination of testing, and helping you understand what should happen next in your care.
Outside Testing
When testing is needed, we can help coordinate appropriate laboratory or imaging orders. Charges from outside laboratories and imaging facilities are separate from membership.
Specialty Care
If your concern requires care beyond the scope of the practice, we'll help guide you toward an appropriate specialist or other level of care.
Sick & acute care
When something comes up, start with us.
Established members can contact Cary Primary Care when a new illness or health concern comes up. Depending on the problem, care may be provided through an office visit, telehealth, or messaging when clinically appropriate.
Same-day or next-day appointments may be available when clinically appropriate and scheduling allows.
Not an urgent care or emergency service.
Cary Primary Care is not an urgent care or emergency service. Patients with potentially serious or time-sensitive symptoms may be directed to urgent care, an emergency department, or another appropriate level of care.
Some conditions may require evaluation or ongoing management by a physician, specialist, or multidisciplinary team. We do not provide chronic opioid therapy or routine long-term controlled-substance management.
